The Thoughts She Left Behind
The Thoughts She Left Behind explores the delicate interplay of imagination and reality in the lives of two individuals, Emily and Joseph. Set against the tranquil backdrop of a park, Joseph recalls a poignant encounter with Emily, an artist who sketches her innermost thoughts. A forgotten sketchbook and a peacock feather become the threads weaving their stories together, as Joseph reflects on her courage, creativity, and the lasting impression she leaves behind. Through a blend of vivid imagination and heartfelt reality, the film captures the beauty of fleeting moments and the power of unspoken connections.

Lasca - Cantaclaro
Cantaclaro is a music video of the venezuelan musician Lasca (Chapis Lasca), directed by his brother, the filmmaker Vadim Lasca, filmed entirely on iPhone 5S in the city of Caracas. Cantaclaro is a dark music video that tries to show the human decay and the loss of values that we have today, mixed with new elements of doctrine that we have accepted as our own. The recording format as well as the vertical format of reproduction are aesthetic elements that are conjugated with the conceptual criticisms of the video.

Ubi sunt or Where are those who were before us?
The main theme of my work, as the title suggests, is memory and death. The invention and democratization of the medium of film/video has profundly changed the perception of family continuity but humanity's as well. "Ubi Sunt" is comprised by material taken from the Internet Archive in order to create an ecumenical family death album. It's part of the "Ars Moriendi" triptych.

He enlists the help of a renowned exorcist, and together, they must confront the darkness within, battling Elenore’s relentless fury, and the nightmarish imaginings she stirs, in a final, harrowing attempt to banish her soul and undo the terror that grips the town.
SLEEP VIDEO
'Sleep Video' is an exploration into the subconscious mind and a look into the mysticism of the night, obstinate remaining despite the enlightenment of the modern world. As the stream-of-consciousness prose poem 'Conscious Thought from Late Evening Until Morning' that 'narrates' the video suggests, this project attempts to breakdown and visualise the bizarre and fevered chaos of the dreaming mind using rational and matter-of-fact language and imagery. I find black and white highly dramatic, less destructive compared to colour, and it creates a fitting atmosphere for the subject of the film. Sometimes our illogical, obscure, and chaotic dreams are remembered in black and white.

Stretching of Daily Life
This video is a product of contemplation on simple human actions in public space, whether it concerns people in movement or not. Through the process, I have established the connection and simultaneity among any of these actions, as well as unity within each individual action. This specific kind of collage need to provide a new sight on our reality and daily life, and the triptych form seems to be quite a logical solution in this case.

Heaven & Hell
In this film, I’ve sought to create a multi-sensory audit of a world in collapse, bridging the widening chasm between political hypocrisy and our fractured social reality. By centering the film on the recurring motif of a fraying flag, I wanted to expose the terrifying fragility of democracy as it buckles under the weight of human greed. I chose to set this human turmoil against the indifferent majesty of nature—where falling snow and rising oceans serve as a silent witness to our choices. Complemented by Veryan’s haunting soundscape and Liz Helman’s narration, the work stands as a cinematic elegy for the marginalized. Ultimately, it is a poetic reminder that while the powerful debate our future, the heaviest burden is always borne by those least responsible for the crisis.

French Movie
An animated short set to a Poem by David Lehman.
Spill a Little Tea
Spill a Little Tea reimagines Delaroche’s The Execution of Lady Jane Grey as a contemporary act of witnessing and resistance. The work draws on the quiet tension of the original painting, transforming it into a space where suppressed voices rise to the surface. “Spilling tea” becomes both confession and revelation—stories once hidden now shared, honored, and believed. This piece stands for women across time who have been unjustly killed, abused, or silenced. By revisiting a historical moment of innocence and powerlessness, the work insists on remembrance, accountability, and the urgent necessity of speaking truths that were never meant to disappear.

We learn of his brave response to the tragedy of her loss. But through this adversity he developed his connection with other horses, which leads him to build up a troupe of remarkable horses. He describes his love for each horse as being equal but different, as it is with his children. As Jean François Pignon reveals exactly how he manages to achieve his unique bond and wordless communication with his horses - and all horses - we discover that it is these creatures’ extreme sensitivity that allows them to ‘read’ humans in an instant. We learn that you cannot lie to a horse and as we witness Pignon emanate a sense of serenity and calm, we understand that his state of being is what allows the horses to fully trust him – a state of being that perhaps we could all learn something from.

Illusory Truth
In a world where future technologies have seamlessly merged with humanity, the boundaries between reality and illusion dissolve. Humans traverse diverse realms, experiencing ever-changing forms of existence as they shift between perceived "reality" and virtual simulations. Yet, unbeknownst to them, even their so-called "real" world may itself be a fabricated construct. From the enigmatic appearance of a crow at the story’s inception to its watchful gaze in the finale, every layer of existence unfolds under its surveillance. This mystical creature symbolises the possibility that both our tangible world and virtual dimensions exist within a higher-dimensional reality—a realm beyond human comprehension. Metaphor In virtual realms, we can become anyone we aspire to be. We are protagonists across infinite worlds, transcending limitations through metamorphosis. If we perceive the virtual as real, it becomes our reality; if we anchor ourselves in the tangible, it solidifies as truth. Every illusion holds truth, and every truth carries illusion. All that is imagined manifests as real, while the "real" dissolves into the ephemeral.
